I’m an evolutionary game theorist, philosopher of biology, and philosopher of science. I recently received an NSF Career grant, entitled “Race, Gender, and the Science of Science”, to integrate considerations about the effects of researchers’ social identities on inquiry (from philosophy of science) into the study of how to achieve well-functioning science.
I'm currently an associate professor at University of Missouri (Mizzou). Before that, I was an assistant professor at Notre Dame. Before Notre Dame, I was a postdoc in the department of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Groningen, and before that I received my PhD from the department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at UC Irvine.
